Hello,
This is my first blog posting. I'm starting this blog to occasionally post on all things beauty and beauty related. Occasionally, I will delve into the realm of fashion since it is another addiction of mine.
For starters, my new addiction seems to be skincare. A great canvas is the foundation of a great looking face. Texture and clarity are of great importance.

Facial cleansers have always been an area where I contend that "simple is best." Many people extol the virtues of Cetaphil, Clinque, and other cleansers. However, I'm an oily girl and I've trusted one brand since I hit puberty -- Neutrogena. Although I've tried many cleansers across the whole price point spectrum, I've always returned to my trusted friend, Neutrogena Deep Clean cleanser in the pump. This cleanser is clearly geared towards people with truly oily skin. I wouldn't recommend it if you have combination skin or experience any type of dryness, because this cleanser really cleans. It's not of the weak at heart.
To achieve smooth texture, I discovered an effective, expensive tool in my beauty arsenal. My Clarisonic facial brush is heaven sent. Although I prayed about this purchase to great lengths, I have not regretted this purchase at all. With the Clarisonic, my pores appear smaller and the texture of my skin is much improved. I've even taken to using this brush on my neck, elbows, knees, and other areas for smooth baby soft skin. Rest assured, if this handy tool ever ceases to work, I will most definitely purchase another one. The price is prohibitive but I highly recommend it.
Well, I guess this concludes my first blog posting. Hopefully, there will be more in the future. I'm always finding more products to write about. :)
I think next time, I'll discuss oil control and proper moisturization.
Until next time. Stay Pretty.
Christa
